Road to the White House 2024! Coming Spring 2024

Very excited to announce our Spring 2024 ROAD TO THE WHITE HOUSE seminar and presidential campaign internship!!

This will be the 6th time that I have taught this quadrennial course!  In previous presidential cycles, we have traveled to New Hampshire for the first-in-the-nation primary.  

In 2024, we will travel to SOUTH CAROLINA for the first in the nation/first in the south primary.

PRIORITY APPLICATION DEADLINE:  October 15th (Course Fee Deposit due November TBD)

The Road to the White House will be a 6 credit course during the Spring 2024 semester:  3 credits for a seminar about US Presidential Campaigns and 3 credits for an internship on a presidential campaign in the first-in-the-nation/first-in-the-south primary state of South Carolina.

Travel dates to South Carolina for the first-in-the-nation primary/first-in-the-south are expected to be February 17-25, 2024.

There will be course fees to cover travel costs to/from/in South Carolina . 

 

Dr. McLauchlan will set up office hour appointment times to conduct brief interviews and to answer questions after October 3rd.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.  Spots will be reserved by the course fee deposit.
